Pledger, or a special authority to Pledge. Mr. Cotton knew the Powers of the Secretary in which office Mr. Pollard was.
Mr. Cotton was himself a Proprietor, and he must have known the Rules of the Bank. He has sworn the Secretary must have a particular written order before he can sell the Company’s Paper, belonging to the Bank.
