He quoted the same case from Moore, Crooke, & Yelverton. And relied much on the last resolution in Coke’s rep: that the general allegation knowing thereof is not sufficient; & on the whole that Plf must be nonsuited.
Mr. Carrington on same side quoted 2 Levinz &5 to prove that the consideration of the debt on which Stone was sued ought to have been shewn & proved by evidence: And that the Plf’s counsel have not laid a foundation for consequential Damages.
