[Being much indisposed, I was obliged have to desist from writing and only to take now & then a note of something remarkable. Mr. J. Hyde was so kind as to take notes more largely.]
The Bengally paper marked Exhibit h was produced by Defendant Gopy Nazir’s Advocate on the X examination of Burkut Ullah to convince the Court & Jury that a grant of Land had been made by the Zemindar of Sautseica to Sibpersaud Bannajee to bribe him to give Evidence in this cause. But when shewn to Burkut Ullah, he at once pronounces it to be a forgery & swears that the Signature is not of the handwriting of the Zemindar’s and so conscious of this were
