Saturday July 10th 1779.
Present
Sir E. Impey
Mr. Justice Chambers
&
Mr. Justice Hyde.

[Triple Line]
Rex,
on the Prosecution of Mr. Law, and Mr. Young
v
Nauderah Begum, Khojah Zachariah and four others.
Mr. Brix, Moved, in the above Cause on behalf of Nauderah Begum, that she might have a Copy of the Indictment against her and the others for Forgery. He stated that the Indictment had been found by the Grand Jury, and before Plea Pleaded the Indictment had been Quash’d for Insufficiency. That the Indictment charged a Felony under the Statute of 2d George 2d ch. 25 in Forging two Writings in the Persian Language, which the Indictment calls Deeds to bring them within the Description of the Statute, but which the Prosecutors must know were not Deeds.
