1779. Sessions. [Monday] Dec. 1st.

said “I have known the Prisoner Seven years, and never knew he was Mad, nor heard he was Mad.” With this the jury said they were satisfied, and did not desire the other Witnesses to be call’d back to answer Questions whether the Prisoner was Mad.
The Prisoner was call’d Mirza, which is prefix’d to the names of Moguls, as Mr. is to the names of English Men.
Guilty, He was Hanged on Wed. Dec. 15th. This day Monday Dec. 13th 1779 was the the Trial of [all?] the Prisoners, was finish’d, and the Sentences were pronounced on those found
