his Petition of Appeal or therein proceed therein. And the Petitioner therefore humbly prays that your Majesty will be graciously pleased to Order the said Appeal may stand dismissed with Costs for want of prosecution.
The Lords of the Committee in Obedience to your Majesty said Order of Reference have this day taken the said Petition into Consideration and were attended by Counsel for the Petitioner thereupon and it appearing to be upwards of seven years since the said Judgment was given, and that the Appellant hath not during all that time presented any Petition of Appeal from the said Judgment to your Majesty in Council, or taken any steps for prosecuting the same – Their Lordships do agree to Report as their opinion to your Majesty that the said Appeal of the said Henry Watson from the said Judgment of the Supreme Court of Judicature at
