Mr. Edward Brampton one of the said Plaintiff’s Attornies departed this life and, Mr. Coleman Hamilton the other attorney on record for the said Plaintiff being in Employ of Thomas Lloyd who appears to this Deponent from the Commencement of the said Cause to have been Clerk to the said Messieurs Hamilton & Brampton. And to have been the principal or sole agent acting for the said Plaintiff in [ILL] the said Cause against this Defendant [ILL] Clerk or assistant in the office of a Mr. William Smoulth; who on or about the 22d day of June 1790 entered an appearance for the said Plaintiff in this same in the room of Messieurs Hamilton and Brampton the former Attorney for the said Plaintiff, And this Deponent further saith that the said cause was set down for trial & Jt given for S.
