Charles Wyatt know the truth to be that so far from being laborious and industrious in the due performance of the aforesaid Trusts the said Charles Wyatt has been shamefully negligent, inattentive and unjust in his conduct respecting the aforesaid Trusts and particularly in having suffered your Orator to be arrested by some of his Creditors and to be near two years in the Gaol of Calcutta without making any attempt to compromise with your Orator said Crediors or to discharge this demand on your orator although your Orator further charges that the said Charles Wyatt had during the whole time? Your orator said Confinement, Sums of money recorved by him under and by virtue of the aforesaid Power of attorney and Deed of assignment and Securities for money deliverd to him as aforesaid more than Sufficient to release your orator from his said Confinement under which your Orator further charges he should have still continued, but for the Executors assistance of one Thomas Henry Davies, who released your Orator from the said Confinement notwithstanding the intrigues and treacherous endeavours of the said Charles Wyatt to the Contincy at other times the said Charles Wyatt admits that true it is that he left your Orator to linger in the Gaol of Calcutta as aforesaid but pretends and gives out
