1778. 4 Term. [Friday] Oct. 30th

at the Head of the Calcutta Committee and consequently of the Zilla Cutcherry, and by his means gets an Order to turn Jaggatram out of possession, which he does.

He knows the Lessor Jaggatram, he knew the places, and that Jaggatram used to collect the Rents, and the common report was that he had a Potta for it, from Chuta Bibbee, and that She had it by grant from the Rajah of Burdwan. He knows the Seal of Chuta Bibbee, and says it is her Seal to Exhibit A, which is a Pottah for the Premisses from Chuta Bibbee to Jaggatram.
