asked Zakeriah whose writing it was upon which I was sent for – the Kazee shewed me two papers & asked me which of them was my writing – I shewed this paper and pointed out that this was my writing – The Kazee swore me & I swore this was my writing whatever was the truth I related to the Kazee – I then gave the Kazee the same account I have now given to the Court – I said before the Kazee that after the death of Shaw baz beg Khan Mullah Zekariah gave me a draft of a Hebbanamah & desired me to Copy under the Vine and he said that this was the draft which existed in the time of Shawbaz beg Khawn & he desired me to copy it, I said to the Kazee [ILL] not know whether this draft was before or after the time of Shawbaz beg Khaun. I [ILL] the draft according to his desire – I [ILL] the copy I made from the draft to Mulla Zakariah – all this was taken down by the Kazee – I put any seal to this declaration which I made before the Kazee – the Kazee kept this declaration as to seeing this paper at the Council House. I was sent for before the Council – four Gentlemen were present at the Council House namely Mr. Law, Mr. Young & two other Gentlemen whose names I do not know. The Gentlemen [ILL] the paper & asked me if it was writing. I answerd it was. The paper was on the [ILL] they asked me whether I had wrote this paper before or after the death of Shawbaz beg Khawn, I answered, that I recollect, after his Death; this is all that passed at the Council.
