Some Months ago I understood Types were missing from the Printing Office, at Durrumtolah in Calcutta, Jacob Thomas was at that time employ’d in that Office – he continued to be employ’d there till about two or three months ago, he was employ’d there as a Printer. He seem’d to me to possess more money than could arise from his Wages which were One Hundred Rupees a Month, yet I did not suspect he had stolen Types. I did not think
