1790. First Term. [Thursday] Jan: 7th.

Short Notes.
Mem: It is my intention in the present Term, and in future Terms, to write in books like this, made of half sheets of Paper sew’d together, and interleaved with red blotting paper, paged at the bottom, and at the left hand corner of the back, that is the left hand page of each half sheet, the shortest and most irregular Notes I take as well, as the most regular notes I take.
This I intend to do without regard to order of time, but to write the proceedings of the
