1781. 3 Term [Tuesday] July 10.
Appointed to collect the Rent for Becharam, to which he consented, and on that Pretence they have taken possession of the Land and kept it.

The Pottah was produced and admitted by the advocate for defendant as Evidence, without proving the hand writing being signed many years ago by Mr. Billers Collector.
The Pottah is dated 1st Jan. 1764. The Bills of Sale were dated above thirty years ago and were therefore admitted by the Court in Evidence without Proof of the Hand Writing.
One was dated Feb. 28th: 1748. Bay. 1156 The other 4th Bythauk – 1157.
