The Plaintiff relies on the Count for Money Lent.
A Bengal Note was proved. For the Defendant it was stated the Contract was usurious, because at the time of the Lending the Plaintiff detained the amount of the Interest for a year. And the Contract being in Fort William and the Interest in the Bond 12 percent the Court agreed it would be usurious if it were so, but the Deducting the Money was not proved.
