alter the Contract of the Bail, who having agreed to pay the Debt if the Defendant did not pay it or surrender himself to Prison if there was a Judgment against the Defendant in a certain Cause, were by the alteration without their consent, made to be answerable in a different Cause. Sir William assented to this reasoning, and therefore the amendment was refused.
