Sir William Jones went on board his Pinnace last night in order to proceed up the River, to his House at Krishen-nagar as he calls the place usually call’d Kissenagore, distant from Fort William about miles, according to the Measure of the Road in Mr. Rennell’s book of the Roads in Bengal.
