Trial
objections. I trust it appears that he has no interest either in the event of the cause, or in the question, [which] could tempt any man to commit perjury.
As to the 3d Objection that he is brought to allege his own turpitude, or to annul his own instrument: I deny that he is brought for any such purpose.
What he has done by force is to be considered as if it were not done.
It is already in evidence that he was under Duress when he signed this account.
