Connoy demanded fifty Rupees, then 40 then 25, but Hurry and his Wife refused, at last the Wife promised 10 rupees. Then the Sircar asked Hurry again what he would give, and he said he could give no more than 15 Rupees. Which Connoy agreed to. Then the Sircar carried us to a Tackoor Barree, where he said he would assemble some people and sign a Release. There he assembled the Mundel of the Village and four of five Persian Writers, they examined the matter and found Connoy’s complaint false, on which they asked Hurry Paurry why he promised to pay 15 Rupees he said that
