Wts’s examination was continued on the 1st of February, but for convenience it is the extracts which I have thot it proper to take from that further Examin— are inserted have immediately after the former Examin—.

Another time at the lodging of Saum Lall at Chitpore I compared the total amounts in our Cottahs with the Cottahs of the Koutee that is the Ledger account of the Revenue with their Ledger. I had no other Books with me at that time but the Books of the Revenue.
