of the Demurrer of the Plaintiff to the Plea of the Defendant of a Corrupt agreement which by the Statute made the Bond void. The Demurrer is a General Demurrer, all the arguments must arise from the Record. Whether the Defendants have acted the part of Merchants or of Stake holders is not for the consideration of the Court. The first consideration is whether in substance the Plea is good, and the second whether the Plea intended is well pleaded.
