I sd that was the man, the Serjt was ordered to take care of him.
Next morning (Sunday) a peon told me the Serjt had bn at the house with the ring. Not long after he Mr. T came home & shew’d me a note from Mr. Motte. We went togr to the old Court house & there Serjt Funck produced the ring, the prisr present.
