Bengal, in and upon one Ramkissno Sonaur, in the peace of God and our said Lord the King then and there being, did make an assault, and him the said Ramkissno Sonaur then and there did beat wound and ill treat, so that his life was greatly despaired of, and him the said Ramkissno Sonaur then and there with Force & arms falsely unlawfully and injuriously and against the Will of the said Ramkissno Sonaur and against the Laws of this Realm without any legal warrant authority or justifiable cause did imprison and detain for the space of two months & eight days, and the said Bindabun Bysaak other wrong to the said Ramkissno Sonaur then and there did to the great damage of the said Ramkissno Sonaur and against the peace of our said Lord the King his Crown and Dignity. And the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do further present that the said Bindabun Bysaak a person subject to the Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Judicature at Fort William in Bengal by having committed the offence aforesaid within the Town of Calcutta
