But as the sending a Challenge is a sort of Offence which has no definite punishment annexed to it by Law but is to be punish’d according to the Legal Discretion of the Court. In some circumstances it may be a very high Offence, and under other circumstances and from some kind of provocation it may be consider’d as a very slight Offence.
