It is clear that on a promissory Note for payment of Money on a Certain Day, Interest is to be allowed from the day it should have been paid, although no mention is made of Interest in the Note.
Interest must in the present Cause be allowed in the Dammages.

It was said the case of Oonoopchund last Term was on a loan of Money, and merely a verbal promise to pay it at a certain day, which is not like the case of a written Note.
