Roychern Shah Sworn.
Jagannath, Bindabon, & Goverdhon wanted me to hire a house, & I showed them that at Kissno Podar. This was in Aswin last: I do not remember the day. They desired me to settle for the rent, saying they wanted to keep some goods ten days. Next day at night those three went with me to the house at Kishno: it was very dark & rained hard, & they said they wd bring, the goods that night or next. When they went, the gun had fired. I lay & slept in Kishno’s house. They returned at midnight, with the goods: they were pieces of mulmul, nayan such, allu beli, shawl handkerchief, shawl rajais. Each man took a share – I sold no pieces: they gave me a two pieces & a handkerchief & desired me not to speak of what had passed to any one. They spoke one after another. I do not know the 3 prisrs in the 1st rank.
