recovering of the value of a certain Brick Dwelling House, Houses of Worship and all Brick Erections and Buildings which were upon the Lands of Bhobin Turrufdar and the Petitioner, and of which they had been dispossessed by Colonel Archibald Campbell and for the [ILL] Profits of the said Lands and for the purposes therein mentioned – That this Cause coming on to be heard the 8th day of March 1784, it was Ordered and Decreed by the said Supreme Court that the Defendant Henry Watson, (the now Appellant) should pay the Petitioner certain sums of Money therein particularly mentioned, amounting in the whole sum of 53401 Arcot Rupees and one Pice, and also that the said Henry Watson should pay the Petitioner the further sum of 9027 Arcot Rupees and 14 Annas for his Costs sustained in the suit, which said two sums make together the sum of 62427 Arcot Rupees 14 annas and one Pice – this the said Appellant Henry Watson appealed from the said Judgment of the said Court to your majesty in Council.
