Trial, (from yesterday) and it was expected that Mr. Fenwick would now call his wtses; but having since yesterday consulted with his counsel he, by their advice, resolved not to give any evidence, though in his defence he had asserted many facts which he had been told he ought not to assert unless he meant to prove these.
Mr. Davies observed shortly upon some cases which Mr. Fenwick had quoted & then the whole of the evidence was read over again by the clerks of the papers.
