Bequest had the Attestation of the Law Officers & was written in the usual Form, that therefore had a Bequest been made in favor of the Widow the Deceased Certainly would have made it in the manner before described. Behadur Khan further observed that had the Widow possessed any genuine Deeds of Gift from the Demand she would have produced them within 3 Days after his Husband Died, but that those she had now in her possession were forged subsequent to the Decease of her Husband; and that he relied on the justice of the Gentlemen to furnish those who were concerned in the Forgery of them, & to prevent the Widow from depriving him by their means of what was his Just inheritance .
