He would not answer, Mr. Motte order’d him to be slapped on the face, then he said he had stolen the things from the House of a Man in the Burrah Bazar. He said he did not know the name but he would shew the House.
I did not go with him to the Burrah Bazar. The next day I saw Durgachurn at Mr. Motte’s and he claim’d these things.
