1782 2 Term [Tuesday] March 12th
Would have given the consent himself, no other Advocate being now in Court beside Mr. Hare: by Mr. Tolfrey being asked by Mr. Justice Chambers and answering that he had not last night instructed Mr. Davies to consent to these Motions: Mr. Justice Chambers would not suffer Mr. Tolfrey the Attorney to consent, for he said the Instructions to the Advocates even to give Consent ought to be given the day before and not in Court, at the very instant the Consent was to be given.
The Motions were therefore deferred.
