I know the prosecutor; about last Bysack I saw him at Bindabon’s house. When the paper (A) was written I was not present but, when I went in, the defendant said to me, in the presence of the prosecutor & his brother (who were sitting there) “Ramheri & his brother have just now given their declarations.” I then asked them, whether it was so, they said yes a paper was in the hand of Indra Narayan, which, I think, was the same with this (A); but I did not examine it.
Ramcrishno came near me & said We have given in writing a declaration.
That day the prosecutor said nothing; but next day but one he & Ramcrishno came
