Granted, without any difficulty, this deduction making the contract usurious. It was also sworn that about One Thousand two hundred Rupees more of the Mondy agreed to be lent, and secured by the Bond, had never been paid to the Defendant, which increased the rate of the usury. It was also sworn that the Principal Mondy really lent, and twelve per Cent Interest, had been offer’d to be paid, and had been refused.
