On the 16th instant a Rule had been obtd by the Deft (in a cause wherein Miss B. Loftie is Pld and Mr. Will: Hunter is Deft) for the Plf to shew cause on this day why the Trial shod not be put off till next Term. And now by consent of both parties the Rx is discharged and it is agreed that the cause do stand over to the 15th of January next, & that the notice of Trial already served shall be sufficient: The costs to abide the event of the Trial.
The first cause in the sittings paper was then called on
