A Witness proved the Execution of a Mortgage Deed, by Gunganarain Roy to the Company dated Jan: the first 1780. The Debt for which the Salt was Mortgaged was One Hundred and Eighty Two Thousand, Three Hundred and Eighty Nine Sicca Rupees, and Nine Annas.
The Two Golahs of Salt in Question, after the Salt had been weigh’d, were left tied with the Knots and under the Seals of the Servant
