The Cross Examination of Captain Garston continued untill three Quarters of an hour after One o’Clock, and then the Advocates for the Plaintiff declared they had closed the Evidence, and desired the Exhibits might be re’d. The Lord Chief Justice being ill was gone away before this happen’d, and therefore it was proposed, that Mr. Burroughs’s Observations on the Evidence should be deferr’d untill tomorrow.
