1783. 3 Term. [Saturday] March 15.

Mr. Davies, Stated that the Plaintiffs were Portuguese Subjects, and the owners of this Ship, and that the Ship was taken from them by Force at Sea. Near Macao in China; and on coming hither in search of their Ship they find it in the Possession of the Defendants, who refuse to return it to the owners, and say they have purchased the Ship from Mr. Maclary. What right Mr. Maclary had to that Ship it is incumbent on the Defendants to shew.
