America, but Mr. Maclary had been at Macao, and his Ship had been stopped there and himself put in Prison, and for the Release of his Ship and of himself he was obliged to pay a great Sum of Money, and in fact tho it was not in proof in this Cause Mr. Maclary had taken this Ship as a reprisal for the Injuries which he said had been done him by the Portuguese Governor at Macao.
