Order that it might be indisputable that the Justices of the Peace were sworn in the Court of Oyer and Terminer: although Lord Chief Justice Chambers has frequently said, and on this occasion, and particularly when adjournments of the Sessions were made, that the Court when ever assembled, were a Court of Oyer and Terminer, at least for the Purposes of the New Act of Parliament.
