Mr. Justice Hyde. Was of the same Opinion. He said that when he administer’d the Oath he considered it, and has ever since considered it, meerly as a confirmation by the Oath of their Parole which had been given soon after Chandernagore was taken, and simply an Undertaking that they would remain Quiet.
