not get that day. At the desire of the Prisoner the Court on Friday directed Subpoena’s to be deliver’d to several Witnesses named by the Prisoner, to attend this day. The Trial now proceeded.
Six or Seven Witnesses who were named on the back of the Indictment were now call’d and sworn and examined by Sir Robert Chambers, and the case they proved was this,
