and the Witness said he could not tell whether the Signatures were by his brother or not: this the Court thought so improbable Evidence, that they adjourn’d the Cause for the Plaintiff to have an opportunity of producing other Witnesses who knew the Hand Writing of the Defendant. Afterward the Court were inform’d the Cause was settled between the Parties.
