the Rule may be made absolute the same day: This new Regulation was made to prevent the Delay arising from allowing the whole day to the Party who was call’d on to shew Cause, so that every Rule required a Week before it could be made absolute, instead of being a Rule from Monday to Thursday; or from Thursday to the Monday in the next Week.
