Indicted for the Murder of Hurry Churn. The Story was, that the deceased had come to the house of the Prisoner with intention to commit adultery with his Wife. Finding a Man in Adultery with the Wife only extenuates the offence of killing him, and reduces it to the offence of Manslaughter; but does not make the killing justifiable.
Verdict – Manslaughter.
