was at Chinsurah on a visit to Mr. Campbell and Mr. Gavin Turnhill, a surgeon, proves that Mr. Gowdie went out of town 2 or 3 times, between June 1784 & Sept: 1784, professedly for the purpose of attending on Mr. Campbell at Chinsura, on which occasion the Wts attended Mr. Gowrie’s patients in Calcutta by his desire; and Mr. Thornhill saw him attending Campbell 3 times in July or August. –
