It was for seizing a Man and bringing him to Mr. Barwell’s Garden House, and there putting him in Custody of a Sepoy for some hours and afterward keeping the Plaintiff in Custody of a Sepahey a few hours more and afterward in Custody of an Hircarrah some time, and beating him a little.
The Defence attempted was, that it was the Act of Tetoo Mr. Barwell’s Consummer, but it was proved the Order was given by the Defendant, though it might be true Tetoo gave the Order to him, or rather probably given him leave to use Mr. Barwell’s Hircarrahs, For the dispute seem’d to be between the Plaintiff and Defendant, concerning
