The Motion for an Order on Mr. Montaigut late Mayor to permit his name to be used in an action, for the advantage of Mrs. Weller, Widow, and Administratrix in England, of Captain Weller who died here, to whom the late Mr. Handcock, Chirurgeon, was administrator, and has given in his account to the late Mayor’s Court, charging himself with Sixty Four Thousand Rupees, and had given a Bond in the penalty of 50,000 Rupees for due administration, and Mr. Daniel Campbell, Chirurgeon, and Mr. John Belli, were securities for him in that Bond. Mr. Handcock was dead, as is alledged insolvent, and Mr. Hastings is executor of Mr. Handcock: The motion was now put off for four days.
