This witness has been in the Service of Golam Ashruff above 20 years, -- was [imprisoned?] a year, then dismissed & after released to Golam Ashruff.
Knows that Golam Ashruff was confined for a fraud on Company – yet does not know what tho’ he was examined before Mr. Willes.
Says his money was taken [from] him.
-- but does not know if 4 Gold Mohurs or 50 -- or 100. –
If he had said anything material, it could not much influence your belief. But in fact he has not.
