He says that during the inquiry at Chitpur he was sent with a chit to Ram after he had inquired in vain [from] some servants whom his master wanted. He would have you believe that Ramchunder on receiving the chit was mad enough to tell him the purpose for [which] his master wanted them, viz to be witnesses at Chitupur and said he would send some of his [ILL] who were clever fellows to give Evidence
