Hyde, but 2 months after that she left that house and went & lived in another, She let that house, & I desired the tenant not to pay her rent but to keep it in his hands till the dispute between the widow & me should be settled. He did not comply with my request, but paid the rent to her; & when he afterwards quitted the house & it was empty, I took possession of it. I did not go live in it, but I used to go there sometimes & sit for 2 or 3 Gurries in the Gateway & so I did on the day when this happened. About 30 or 40 rupees of that rent still remains
