from Hurryram by force.
When Plf went away he deld the management of Murteza Gunge to Joy Singh a relation of his own.

X Exam.
Deft took possion, & kept his Cutcherry at the lodging of Hurry Kissen Bukshy who acted as Deft’s servant.
Mr. Bogle gave his orders to Deft who was his Dewan, and Deft gave orders to Hurry R Bukshy & the other servts.
The Dewan may take away farms & give to whom he pleases, but he acted by Mr. Bogle’s authority; & I suppose he had Mr. Bogle’s order in this case but I don’t know.
Hurry R Bukshy & the Deft lived in the same compound [ILL] in diff houses, & sevl others lived there who were employed and in the Company.
Ramct came & took the lodging [ILL] Plf had before, & 2 of Plf’s people [ILL] there after they wre disposs of the Farm of [which] [they?] had the management viz [ILL]. Roy & Paunchoo Ghosee. I know that Plf was the farmer of the Taalooks from [ILL] 1686: Was not I employd to manage his business?
